From the desk of our Chairman Paul Thangam ” The impact of the global pandemic COVID 19 on every business is immense. Every business has been compelled to re-think on their fundamental assumptions and presumptions about their day-to-day business operations. The overall business sentiment in the economy is very low. However, at this juncture, we wish to highlight that the most important resource for every entrepreneur in business is TIME. COVID 19 and the related lock-down of the economy afforded huge TIME for every entrepreneur, which otherwise would have been passed through in the regular routine of day-to-day business activities. The time available has created a huge opportunity for new business ideas, innovative ways of serving customers, and improving value adding activities.
Unlike any other natural disaster which causes huge loss of property in addition to the risk of human lives, the spread of COVID 19 has not caused loss of property. Therefore, I am confident that with the collective support of suppliers, customers, employees, bankers and other service providers, the businesses will rise from the current situation. COVID 19 will also offer new opportunities for new businesses in the global market. Therefore, I am confident that the economy will be back to pre-COVID situation soon.
